Old Town Alexandria Wedding | Virginia Wedding Photographer
Mundy and Udochi were so excited to have a photoshoot in Old Town Alexandria during their wedding day! The historic cobblestone streets and the charming architecture provided a timeless backdrop for the wedding photoshoot. The well preserved 18th-century elements and the beautiful attire of the couple created the perfect setting. We started at Captain’s Row. This is iconic street is famous in Old Town Alexandria. It is known for its weathered cobblestones and historic row houses. This made for a romantic atmosphere in this wedding photo session.
The photo session was in the middle of the day. Most photographers would say that this creates harsh lighting. Luckily, as a DC native photographer, I know that the mature trees in Old Town Alexandria create an archway that diffuses the light. Mundy and Udochi were so happy with how their Old Town Alexandria wedding photos turned out!
These wedding photos turned out so well with the backdrop of cobblestone and greenery!
Wedding Photos in the Old Town Alexandria Alleyways
Mundy and Udochi loved the hidden alleyways in Old Town Alexandria! The alleyways date back to the 1700s and contain weathered cobblestone, brick and ivy. The climbing ivy growing over the brick walls created a perfect backdrop for the photos. Udochi was so happy with how this location showed off her amazing wedding veil.
