Where are the best quiet spots to take photos in bustling NYC?

These spots are great for any season during the year with the water and unique skyline.

If you only have a short time in NYC and want to take some photos to capture the romance and spirit of the city, here are three great locations.

1. Brooklyn Bridge Park

The Brooklyn Bridge Park dock is beautiful at anytime of the year. It has a wonderful view of the Manhattan skyline. The Brooklyn Bridge is in the background. This spot is lovely during the day or night.

Brooklyn Bridge Park is close to the other 2 photo spots that I would recommend. All 3 of these spots are in close proximity to each other which is very convenient. So you can have different creative shots in a short time.

Transportation:

You can reach Brooklyn Bridge Park by taxi or subway. There are 2 subway stations within walking distance of the dock. The York Street Subway Station and the High Street - Brooklyn Bridge Station. You can also travel by car but you have to be there early to get parking.

2. Pebble Beach in Brooklyn, New York

After visiting the Brooklyn Bridge Park dock, take a 5 minute walk to this picturesque location.

Pebble Beach is an amazing spot for photos at anytime of the year. The beach offer fantastic views of both the Manhattan Bridge and Brooklyn Bridge as well as the NYC skyline.

We came here in the morning for beautiful lighting. The couple is enjoying the splendid view while I take this beautiful picture with a morning ray of the sun reflecting off the skyline.

3. The Manhattan Bridge from Washington Street

If you like NYC photos, then you’ve probably seen this spot before. This street is very trendy on social media. Washington St. features Belgian blocks or commonly called cobblestones on the street with the Manhattan Bridge in the background.

This spot is about a 5 minute walk from Pebble Beach and a less than 10 minute walk from the Brooklyn Bridge Park dock.

During midday, you can expect a lot of people visiting here. I recommend visiting early in the day as there will be fewer people.
