3 Tips for Choosing Your Wedding Dress

– A Videographer’s Perspective by Michael Schroeder

These 3 tips will make it easier for you to choose a wedding dress that helps you look and feel good on your big day.

1. Be Adventurous

Try different designs. A dress with a less conventional design or details like sleeves or a lace top may suit you.

2. Test for Comfort

Pick a dress that feels comfortable because you will be wearing it for the entire day. Try standing, sitting, walking and dancing in a dress before purchasing it. Also try wearing the dress longer to see whether it is too heavy and you need to pull it up.

If your dress has a special feature like a long veil or train, plan for it. Otherwise, it might be stepped on and ripped.

3. Focus on the Top

Check how you look from different angles. Visualize your full-body and upper body shots. Closer shots are common for photos and videos with family and friends. If you are wearing a strapless gown, consider wearing at least one accessory so that your look is complete.
